Anitha reunited with her family in Bangalore, after 8 years

On August 22, 2019, a person named Anitha, who was wandering the streets of Mangalore, was rescued and admitted to Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre for Women by the Snehalaya team under the guidance of Brother Joseph Crasta, founder of Snehalaya. At the time of admission, she was suffering from mental illness and exhibited related symptoms. After receiving care and treatment at Snehalaya, her condition improved, and thanks to the diligent efforts of the Snehalaya and Shraddha teams, her address was successfully determined.
On February 7, 2024, Anitha was reunited with her family in Magadi, Bangalore. Her son welcomed her with immense joy and happiness; they were overjoyed to see her after 8 years of absence. According to the family, she had been suffering from mental illness for the past 9 years and had been receiving treatment at NIMHANS Hospital in Bangalore. However, due to improper follow-up, her condition worsened.
The family was deeply emotional, expressing heartfelt gratitude towards Snehalaya and the Shraddha Centre for their selfless service.
 
ದಿನಾಂಕ 22.08.2019 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಅನಿತಾ ಎಂಬ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಸಹೋದರ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಂತೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು  ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೆಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿತು.
ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದ ಅನಿತಾ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊರೆತ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಆಕೆಯ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 07.02.2024ರಂದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮಾಗಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ  ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಕೆಯ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಅನಿತಾಳ ಮಗ ತನ್ನ ತಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಏಂಟು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮರಳಿ ಪಡೆದು ಆನಂದಬಾಷ್ಪವಿತ್ತನು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅನಿತಾ ಕಳೆದ 9 ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದಳು ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ನಿಮ್ಹಾನ್ಸ್ ಅಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಳು ಆದರೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಔಷಧ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಕಾರಣ ಆಕೆಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹದೆಗೆಟ್ಟಿತು.
ಅನಿತಾಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂಪಡೆದ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಭಾವುಕವಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೃದಯಾಂತರಾಳದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿತು.
