Emotional Reunion of Ajay with His Family in Punjab
On March 29, 2024, a destitute man named Ajay was rescued from the Mangalore Junction Railway Station and subsequently admitted to the Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for Men for further care and treatment by Brother Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya. He was accompanied by the trustee and secretary of Snehalaya, Mrs. Olivia Crasta, and the Snehalaya team. After receiving essential care and treatment at Snehalaya, Ajay's condition improved, and through the hard work of the Snehalaya team and the Shraddha team, it was possible to trace his address.
On April 18, 2024, Ajay successfully reunited with his family in Gurdaspur, Punjab. He had been missing for 10 months. According to his family, his real name is Pragat Singh, and he has been suffering from mental illness for the past 14 years. The family expressed their gratitude towards both the Snehalaya and Shraddha teams for their selfless service to mankind.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 29.03.2024 ರಂದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಸಹೋದರ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಒಲಿವಿಯಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ ಅಜಯ್ ಎಂಬ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯು ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದ ಹಾಗು ಕೊಳಕಾದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ.ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆ ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶೃದ್ದಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಆತನ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.
ಆತನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರೀಯೆಯನ್ನು ಸುಗಮಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಆತನನ್ನು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 18/05/2024ರಂದು ಪಂಜಾಬ್‌ನ ಗುರುದಾಸ್‌ಪುರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಹತ್ತು ತಿಂಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಕಣ್ಣೀರಿಟ್ಟಿತು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಹೇಳುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆತನ ನಿಜ ಹೆಸರು ಪ್ರಗತ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಆತ ಕಳೆದ ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು.
ಈ ಪುಣ್ಯಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶೃದ್ದಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
