Emotional reunion of Ganesh Naik after 14 years of separation with his family.

On December 13, 2023, a destitute named Ganesh Naik, approximately 60 years old, was rescued from the streets of Yeyyadi and subsequently admitted to Snehalaya Psycho-Social Rehabilitation Centre for men by Mr. Prakash Pinto, our trustee, for further care and treatment. After receiving essential care and treatment at Snehalaya, his condition improved, and with the hard work of the Snehalaya team and Shraddha team, it was possible to trace his address.

On April 22, 2024, Ganesh Nayak successfully reunited with his family - his wife, son, and brother. He had been missing for 14 years. According to the family, he was a Purohit and was performing pujas in his village. The family was both shocked and filled with happiness to see him after this long separation.

The family expressed their gratitude towards both the Snehalaya and Shraddha teams for their selfless service towards mankind.

ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 13,2023 ರಂದು, ಸುಮಾರು 60 ವರ್ಷ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನ ಗಣೇಶ್ ನಾಯ್ಕ್ ಎಂಬ ನಿರ್ಗತಿಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಿಂಟೋರವರು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಯೆಯ್ಯಾಡಿಯ ಬೀದಿಯಿಂದ  ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯು ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದ ಹಾಗು ಕೊಳಕಾದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿದ್ದ.ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆ ಅಂತೆಯೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶೃದ್ದಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಆತನ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು  ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು. 
ದಿನಾಂಕ 22/03/2024ರಂದು ಒಡಿಶಾದ ಬರ್ಗರ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಹದಿನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರು ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ತರು ಕಣ್ಣಿರಿಟ್ಟರು. ಪೂಜಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತಿದ್ದ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಯಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ಪುಣ್ಯಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶೃದ್ದಾ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
