ದಿನಾಂಕ 11.02.2024ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ವಿಶ್ವಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ "ವಿಶ್ವಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಸಮಾರೋಹ" ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಕಲೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ. ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ರೂವಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಸಹೋದರ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರು ಈ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ 'ಬಸ್ತಿ ವಾಮನ ಶಣೈ ವಿಶ್ವ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಸೇವಾ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ'ವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಈ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಗಣ್ಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು , ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ  ಸಹೋದರ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಬಗೆಹರಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು, "ಈ ಮನ್ನಣೆ ಕೇವಲ ನನ್ನದಲ್ಲ; ಇದು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಇಡೀ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ದಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
