Rakhi Reunited with her Family After 20 Years

On August 17, 2023, a woman named Rakhi, who was a resident of Jyothi Nivas Psychosocial Rehabilitation Center in Vazhavatta, Wayanad, was admitted to Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Home for Women for her reunion. Her health condition improved at Snehalaya, and with the dedicated efforts of the Snehalaya and Shraddha teams, her address was successfully found.

On May 19, 2024, she was reunited with her family in the Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh. Her family was surprised to see her after 20 years. Initially, they found it difficult to recognize her as she had left home at a young age. However, her sister recognized her, and they were very happy.

The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards Snehalaya and the Shraddha Foundation for their selfless service.

ದಿನಾಂಕ 17.08.2023ರಂದು ವಯನಾಡ್‌ನ ವಾಝವಟ್ಟಾದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ನಿವಾಸ್ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಿಂದ ರಾಖಿ ಎಂಬ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆಯಿಂದಾಗಿ ಆಕೆಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಮೇಣ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡು ಬಂತು.ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ರಾಖಿಯ ವಿಳಾಸ ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 19.05.2024ರಂದು ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಚಿಂದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅಕೆಯ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ  ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಆಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂಪಡೆದು ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ಭಾವುಕರಾದರು. ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದ ರಾಖಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಸಣ್ಣ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದಳು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
