Snehalaya witnessed a joyful reunion of Mr. Bhgawan Singh with his family from Madhya Pradesh
Mr. Bhgawan Singh, aged 28 years, was brought to Snehalaya by our Trustee on November 22, 2023, from Kavoor, Mangalore. He was found wandering on the streets of Kavoor. He was admitted with psychiatric symptoms and was diagnosed with Psychosis Nos. When he arrived at Snehalaya, he showed extremely violent behaviour. Although he was not at all cooperative during treatment, the team managed to give him the appropriate attention and support.
 
In addition to the medication, he was urged to take part in our various therapeutic activities and counselling sessions. As he was having the Adhar card with him, our social worker was able to determine that he is from Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Over the phone, the social worker spoke with His brother. On November 26, 2023, his father and brother made their way to Snehalaya, and there was another joyful reunification. He had been missing from his house since last 4 years. He was experiencing some mental illness in the interim, and he then fled from his home. They were really delighted and happy to see Bhgawan Singh again. On the same day, they discharged him and took him back to their house. The family members were really appreciated Snehalaya for taking care of him.
 
The Psychiatric Social workers will continually do a follow up and direct them for further Medication.

4 ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮರಳಿ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸೇರಿದ ಭಗವಾನ್ ಸಿಂಗ್
ದಿನಾಂಕ 22/11/2023 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮರಕಡದ ರಸ್ತೆಬಳಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಭಗವಾನ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಎಂಬ ಸುಮಾರು 28ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು, ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಪಿಂಟೋರವರು, ಫಾ. ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಬಾಪು ಹಾಗು ಫಾ. ಕ್ಲಾರಿ ಡಿ ಸೋಜ, ಬೀದರ್  ಅವರ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ  ಹಾಗೂ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
 
ರೋಗಿಯು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದು, ಹುಟ್ಟೂರು ಮಧ್ಯಪ್ರದೇಶ ಎನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದ. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದ  ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆಮಾಡಿ ವಿಷಯ ತಿಳಿಸಿದಾಗ ಕುಟುಂಬವು ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಾಗಿ ಶಿಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುವ ಆಶ್ವಾಸನೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತು. 
 
ಇಂದು ದಿನಾಂಕ 26/11/2023 ರಂದು ಆತನ ತಂದೆ ಚೇನ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಹೋದರ ಸಂಜಯ್ ದೂರದ ಭೋಪಾಲ್ ನಿಂದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದರು. ಆತನನ್ನು ಕಂಡು ತುಂಬಾ ಸಂತೋಷ ಪಟ್ಟರು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಭಗವಾನ್ ಸಿಂಗ್ ಸುಮಾರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ವರ್ಷದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮನೆಯಿಂದ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ಅವರಿಗೆ 2 ತಿಂಗಳ ಔಷಧಿ ಹಾಗು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿತು. ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಈ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
