Sunil Returns Home After 8 Years.
On January 25, 2024, a person named Sunil, who was found wandering on National Highway 66 near Trasi, was rescued by social worker MH Ibrahim with the help of the Gangolli police. He was admitted to Snehalaya under the guidance of Brother Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya.
After receiving care and treatment at Snehalaya, his condition improved, and he was transferred to Shraddha in Mumbai for further reunification processes. On May 13, 2024, he was successfully reunited with his family in Mehdawal, Uttar Pradesh. His family was in tears after seeing him for the first time in eight years. According to his family, his real name is Jhinku, and due to a love failure, he developed mental illness and left his home.
The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude towards Snehalaya and Shraddha for their selfless service.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 25/01/2024 ರಂದು ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ತ್ರಾಸಿಯ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಸುನಿಲ್ ಎಂಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಅಂಬ್ಯುಲೆನ್ಸ್ ಚಾಲಕ ಹಾಗು ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಎಮ್. ಎಚ್.ಇಬ್ರಾಹಿಂ ಇವರು ಗಂಗೊಳ್ಳಿ ಪೋಲಿಸರ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಸಹೋದರ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾರವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರೈಕೆ ಅಂತೆಯೇ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶೃದ್ದಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಆತನ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಕೆಲವೇ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪತ್ತೆಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 13/05/2024ರಂದು ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಮೆಹದಾವಲ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು. ಏಂಟು ವರ್ಷದ ಬಳಿಕ ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕುಟುಂಬಸ್ಥರು ಕಣ್ಣಿರಿಟ್ಟರು. ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಆತನ ನಿಜ ಹೆಸರು ಜಿಂಕು, ಸೈಕಲ್ ಮ್ಯಾಕನಿಕ್ ಆಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಆತ ಪ್ರೇಮ ವೈಫಲ್ಯದಿಂದ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
ಈ ಪುಣ್ಯಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶೃದ್ದಾ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
