Suresh Babu reunited with his family at Bangalore
On November 30th, 2023, a person named Suresh Babu, who was wandering on the streets near Milagres Church in Mangalore, was rescued and admitted to Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre for Men by the Snehalaya team, as per information provided by the public.
At the time of admission, the person was suffering from mental illness. After receiving essential care and treatment at Snehalaya, his condition improved. Due to counseling from the staff of Shraddha and Snehalaya, his address was discovered.
On February 23rd, 2024, he was reunited with his family in Bangalore. His mother and brother became emotional upon seeing him after 4 months of separation. According to the family, he was working abroad where he began to suffer from mental illness. He was deported to India, and upon his return, he became addicted to drugs and alcohol. He was admitted to various rehab centers, but to no avail. When the family visited the Tanjavur Temple, he went missing. The family expressed gratitude to the Shraddha and Snehalaya centers for their selfless service.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 30.11.2023 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರಿಸ್ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಬಳಿ ದಿಕ್ಕು ದೆಸೆಯಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಬಾಬು ಎಂಬ ಯುವಕನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಯ ಸ್ಥಳಿಯರಿಂದ ದೊರೆತ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡವು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೆಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
ದಾಖಲಾತಿಯ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತಿದ್ದ ಆತ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಯಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಧಾರಣೆ ಕಂಡನು. ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬೈಯ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಕೆಂದ್ರದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳ ಆಪ್ತಸಮಾಲೋಚನೆಯಿಂದ ಆತನ ವಿಳಾಸವನ್ನು ಪತ್ತೆ ಹಚ್ಚಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಯಿತು.
ದಿನಾಂಕ 23.02.2024 ರಂದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಆತನ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆತನ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವಾಯಿತು.ನಾಲ್ಕು ತಿಂಗಳ ಬಳಿಕ ಆತನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹೋದರ ಭಾವುಕರಾದರು. ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ಹೇಳುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ವಿದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿ ಭಾರತಕ್ಕೆ ಮರಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಮಧ್ಯಪಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಡ್ರಗ್ಸ್ ಸೇವನೆಯಿಂದ ಆತನ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹದೆಗೆಟ್ಟುತ್ತದೆ, ವಿವಿಧ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆದರು ಯಾವುದೇ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸಮೇತ ತಂಜಾವೂರಿನ ದೇಗುಲದ ದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದಾಗ ಹೇಳದೆ ಕೇಳದೆ ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಕುಟುಂಬಿಕರು ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಕೃತಜ್ನತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
