Another important initiative of Snehalaya is to support children who are on the verge of discontinuing their education. Though there are several schemes and scholarships, the beneficiaries do not receive them in time. The institutions do not provide admission during the 2020-21 academic year without a fee. Snehalaya came across more than 75 distinction students who were helpless and almost stopped their education. Some of the family stories are unbelievable. Snehalaya team assessed the applications and on personal verification, more than 35 students are supported for their educational needs. Direct remittance of fees, boarding facilities wherever needed, and health and other support systems to the family of such children have been provided. All this has been possible only by the grace of God and through the help of donors.
