On April 19, 2024, a 50-year-old individual named Ayyamali Selvam Manikandan, who was found wandering near Wenlock Government Hospital in Mangalore, was rescued by the Snehalaya team. He was subsequently admitted to Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre for Men under the guidance of Bro. Joseph Crasta, the founder of Snehalaya, for proper care and treatment.
