On April 27, 2024, based on information provided by the railway police, Mrs. Josliya Crasta, the trustee of Snehalaya, along with the Snehalaya team, rescued a mentally distressed woman named Kathoor (65), who was found wandering aimlessly at Mangalore Central railway station. She has been admitted to Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Home for women. Kathoor speaks Hindi and claims to be from Jaipur, Rajasthan. ಕತ್ತೂರ್ ಎಂಬ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಖಿನ್ನತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸುಮಾರು 65 ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಪೋಲಿಸರಿಂದ ದೊರೆತ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಜೋಸ್ಲಿಯಾ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡದವರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
