On April 16, 2024, Mr. Jovial Crasta, the trustee of Snehalaya, rescued a person named Sunit (37) who was causing trouble to nearby shopkeepers in Talapady. The timely intervention of Mr.Rayan Sullia helped the patient to have a safe shelter and care. The Patient was rescued and admitted at Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre for men. Sunit is suffering from mental illness and has a habit of alcohol consumption. He speaks the Kannada language and claims that he is from Belagavi, Karnataka.
