On April 26, 2024, Mr. Jovial Crasta, the trustee of Snehalaya, along with the Snehalaya team, rescued a mentally distressed woman named Priyanka Devadethan (43) who was found wandering aimlessly at Mangalore Junction railway station, based on information provided by the railway police. She has been admitted to the Snehalaya Psychosocial Rehabilitation Home for women. Priyanka speaks Malayalam and claims to be from Ernakulam, Kerala. ದಿನಾಂಕ 26.04.2024ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಜಂಕ್ಷನ್ ರೈಲು ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುತಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಿಯಾಂಕಾ ದೇವದೇತನ್ ಎಂಬ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಖಿನ್ನತೆಯಿಂದ ಬಳಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಸುಮಾರು 43 ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರಾಯದ  ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಪೋಲಿಸರಿಂದ ದೊರೆತ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಜೋವಿಯಲ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ತಂಡದವರು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಮುಂದಿನ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗಾಗಿ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥರ ಪುನರ್ವಸತಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ವಿಭಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು.
